Morgan and Prentiss sit next to each other at the round table. When Prentiss jokes that Reid’s attempt at being more conversational isn’t working, Morgan laughs to himself. Towards the end of the episode, Morgan follows Prentiss in the unsub’s house, and later when Prentiss joins Hotch and Morgan, who has Garcia on speakerphone, Morgan looks up at her. Overall, not much.

A ways into the episode, Gideon tells Prentiss to call Reid and Morgan so the three of them can go to Texas to check out the newest body. When Morgan boards the plane, only Prentiss is there. They are both confused because they thought Reid was with the other. So, Morgan and Prentiss fly to Texas alone! They spent a ton of time alone together that day.

Morgan: It’s like when the lion preys upon antelope.

Prentiss: You lost me.

Morgan [smiling, looks over at her]: Well that’s because you, Emily Prentiss, have never been one of the antelope.

Prentiss: Scratch that. You totally lost me.

Morgan: Okay. Check this out. The antelope travel in packs, so the lion just sits and waits. Waits, for just one of the antelope to break away from its herd. So when he’s alone, vulnerable, and completely unprotected, that’s when the lioness strikes, that’s when she makes her move.

Prentiss: Wait a minute, her move.

Morgan: Prentiss, there’s only one thing that’s going to make a straight man leave his friends on guy’s night out. And it will make him leave every time. One of the victims was out for his bachelor’s party. Another one out with just the guys. What’s the only temptation that’s going to lure these men away from each other?

Prentiss: A woman.

The whole conversation, they make direct eye contact. Later, back at the police station, Morgan and Prentiss are working next to each other. So, they did spend about a whole day together, but overall it wasn’t that great of an episode.

Morgan [Walking into the break room, chuckling at Prentiss]: Morning Emily! Have a good weekend?

Prentiss: Yeah. No. [confused] Yes.

Morgan [Chuckles again]: Ooh, I’ve been there.

Prentiss: No it wasn’t—[sigh]. I don’t want to get into it.

Morgan [Smiling at her]: No problem.

Prentiss: It just feels weird, to me, to talk about my personal life here. You know, I don’t really know you guys that well yet.

Morgan [Shrugs and starts to walk away]: I totally get that.

Prentiss [Debates about whether she should tell him. Finally does, and kind blurts it out so he’ll hear her.] I think I totally screwed up this date.

Morgan [Turns around, eyebrow raised, and chuckles again.]

Prentiss [Smiles back and giggles nervously.]

Morgan: Okay. What happened?

Prentiss: You have to understand, I’m a nerd [Morgan laughs again.] like seriously! And I can fool people for days, weeks even, but sooner or later I blow my cover and I say something so geeky and then he doesn’t respond and I lose all confidence.

Morgan: What did you say?

Prentiss: Kilgore Trout.

Morgan: Guy has a problem with Kurt Vonnegut?

Prentiss: You know Kilgore Trout?!

Morgan: I read Slaughterhouse 5 when I was 12 and I blew my mind. Seriously! I couldn’t get enough so I just kept going and I read them all.

Prentiss: Yeah, yeah, me too! What’s your favorite?

Morgan: Mother Night!

Prentiss: The one about the American spy.

Morgan [nods, smiling]: Pretending to be a Nazi.

Prentiss: You are who you pretend to be.

Morgan: So be careful who you pretend to be.

Prentiss: Oh my god. I can’t believe you’re a Vonnegut fan. You just made my day!

Morgan: Anytime. [They clink mugs.]

This seems to be the beginning of their friendship! Morgan and Prentiss sit next to each other at the round table. They also sit next to each other on the plane. The two of them also split away from the team to question a suspect. They work so well together :D At the end of the episode, the team goes to a funeral and Morgan is seen off to the side. Prentiss ends up joining him and they talk about his father’s death. Back on the plane, Morgan and Prentiss have an interesting conversation…

Prentiss [Drops book on table]: Oops.

Morgan [Chuckles]: Oh, wait a minute. No you didn’t. Where did you find this?!

Prentiss: In the airport, can you believe it? Haven’t read this in fif-like twelve years.

Morgan [Laughs again]: Okay that’s funny. Chapter three’s where it starts to get good.

Prentiss: Okay, I will let you know when I get there.

Morgan: Alright, you do that. [Smiles and watches her walk away. Shakes his head and laughs to himself.]

I hope you watched the deleted scene from this episode on YouTube, because it shows that the episode was probably supposed to be Prentiss/Morgan centric, but since they aired out of ordered, this episode became Reid centric. Prentiss follows Morgan to check out the unsub’s house, when JJ and Reid aren’t heard back from. Morgan also turns around and says, “Prentiss, come on.” After Reid can’t be found, Prentiss goes and to talk with JJ, who was being checked out by the medic, when Morgan comes over and touches her shoulder and pulls her away from JJ.

Morgan [Grabbing Prentiss’ wrist and gently pulling her away from JJ. When away from JJ, hand moves up to rest on Prentiss’ shoulder.]: Prentiss. I think Reid followed him into the cornfield. Looks like somebody got dragged.

The two hear someone talking on a phone and they turn. Then Prentiss steps around Morgan by touching his wrist, and moves toward the person speak. (They seem to be touching each other quite frequently and its only three minutes into the episode!) The two get updated info on Henkle’s whereabouts and Morgan touches Prentiss’ shoulder before leading the way to the car. When a live feed connection of Reid takes over Henkle’s computer, which Garcia is going through, Morgan calls the team in to watch the video. Prentiss hurries into the room and edges in front of Morgan, but her back is extremely close to his chest, like a position a couple would take. Morgan and Prentiss work together to figure out Henkle. They try to figure what the caused Henkle to become a murderer. When the team finally finds Henkle’s hind-out, Prentiss stays close to Morgan and asks about the awful smell. Overall, Morgan and Prentiss seemed to be very ‘close’ throughout this episode.

Morgan, Prentiss, Garcia, Hotch, Haley, Reid, and JJ go to the bar together and Prentiss sees Morgan dancing with lots of girls. She says to him to be careful because one of the girls could take his wallet, but he says that he’d be on broke, happy man. Prentiss rolls her eyes while laughing at him and shaking her head as she walks away. At the round table Prentiss teases Morgan about his dancing and the two continually look at each other. On the plane, Morgan and Prentiss sit next to each other at the table and Morgan reaches across Prentiss at one point. The two also have a mini-conversation where they seem to be deep into each other’s eyes. At the second crime scene, Prentiss follows Morgan into the house and she seems to say close behind him. At being filled in on the crime scene, Prentiss cuts in front of Morgan and lead the way to the bedroom. Morgan follows her and then inspects the scene together while being quite close. Afterwards, they walk back downstairs side-by-side. Then they fill in Hotch and Gideon together.

Prentiss and Morgan sit next to each other at the round table, the first time ever! Occasionally, they stand next to each other, or look at each other while talking to the team, but overall, for the main part of the episode, they weren’t together.

At the beginning of the episode Prentiss asks where Morgan is. When Prentiss realizes that Gideon supplied the head detective of the police department that arrested Morgan, with a profile that pointed to Morgan, she looked horrified. Throughout the case, Prentiss seems desperate to help at any chance. Reid and Prentiss are assigned to go to Morgan’s house and to talk to him family and go through his personal effects. While, talking to Morgan’s family, Prentiss refers to Reid and herself as his friends.

Morgan and Prentiss go and talk to prostitutes together in order to gather information on the sub. This is the first time Morgan and Prentiss have ever worked together and they’re alone. They walk away next to each other. That must have been one interesting car ride! After Reid and Morgan question the high school suspect, Prentiss walks over to Morgan.

Prentiss: Is he our unsub?

Morgan: I don’t know. Says he didn’t do it. He actually seems sincere. But he’s a smart kid, and part of the sexual sadist profile is the ability to mimic honest sincerity.

Morgan then walks away from Prentiss, who watches him as he leaves, but Morgan seems confused and stressed about the case, not annoyed with Prentiss, as it may seem on the surface. While the team is “spit-balling ideas,” as Prentiss says, she points out that the profile fits their suspect, and Morgan backs her up. While Prentiss is observing the newest body, Morgan joins her first. As the team is going around to the people in the alleys, showing them pictures of the unsub, Morgan and Prentiss share a few words of frustration at the task. They look each other in the eye and sigh together. When a prostitute blows her whistle when the unsub tries to grab her, Morgan and Prentiss run towards her, side by side. Overall, a fairly good episode, for the first time Morgan and Prentiss actually work together.

At the beginning of the episode, the first person Prentiss talks to and meets is Morgan. They shake hands and share a friendly smile over the round table. When Prentiss translates a note from Arabic, Morgan looks amazed and impressed by her. At this point, Prentiss and Morgan know each other less than everyone else. But, besides the brief introduction at the beginning of the episode, they didn't see each other at all.

True, it was Emily Prentiss’ introduction to the BAU, but she only met Hotch and she briefly saw Gideon. During the whole episode, she never met or even saw JJ, Garcia, Reid, or more importantly Morgan. So, overall, this episode has no Demily relevance at all.

Well you can call me Muffy and my goal is to watch all the episodes of Criminal Minds with Derek Morgan and Emily Prentiss in them, and them post my Demily finds here. Each post will be the scenes from a specific episode, and the episode posts will be in order. I am watching the episodes on A&E, so they're obviously all repeats, and as I watch I record the scenes. But sine I am only going to post the episodes in order, you might have to wait a while as I wait for the episode to be shown. Thanks for reading!
